Ingo Vetter

Ingo Vetter là chuyên gia khách mời thực hiện bài giảng chuyên đề và thảo luận với nghệ sỹ trong dự án MAP 2018.

Ingo Vetter là một nghệ sĩ thị giác làm việc với điêu khắc, nhiếp ảnh và sắp đặt. Ông đã triển lãm ở nhiều quốc gia và thường hợp tác với các nghệ sĩ khác thực hiện các các dự án dài hạn như Detroit Tree of Heaven Woodshop (từ năm 2005). Mối quan tâm của ông dành cho sự phát triển đô thị và các khái niệm về không gian công cộng đã dẫn tới các dự án nghiên cứu như Shrinking Cities (2002-2008) và các dự án tư vấn, chẳng hạn dự án hiện tại về một công viên công cộng luôn di động ở Kiruna, một thành phố mỏ phía Bắc Thuỵ Điển (2011 đến khoảng 2025).

Từ năm 2011 Ingo Vetter trở thành giáo sư điêu khắc tại trường đại học Nghệ thuật Bremen, Đức, với trọng tâm là các chất liệu và sản xuất nghệ thuật trong bối cảnh toàn cầu hoá. Năm 2018, ông được bổ nhiệm giữ chức vụ Trưởng khoa Khoa Nghệ thuật và Thiết kế tại đây.

Trước đó, ông đã từng là giáo sư ở Học viện Mỹ thuật Umeå, Thuỵ Điển (2006-2011), giáo sư thỉnh giảng tại trường Đại học Creative Studies tại Detroit, Mỹ (2008) và là phó giáo sư tại trường Đại học Công nghệ Cottbus Brandenburg, Đức (2005-2006).

Ingo Vetter hiện đang sống và làm việc tại Bremen (Germany).

Ingo Vetter is invited to present a lecture and participating in the mentorship for the Vietnamese artists of MAP 2018.

Ingo Vetter is a visual artist working with sculpture, photography and installations. He exhibits internationally and often collaborates with other artists, resulting in long term engagements like the Detroit Tree of Heaven Woodshop (since 2005). An interest in city development and concepts of public space lead to research projects like Shrinking Cities (2002-2008) and consultancies like his current commission for a constantly moving public park in Kiruna, a mining city in the very north of Sweden (2011-approx. 2025). 

Since 2011 he teaches as a professor for sculpture at the University of the Arts Bremen, Germany with a specific focus on artistic materials and production in globalization. Since 2018, he is the Dean of the Faculty of Art and Design. His previous appointments were as professor at Umeå Academy of Fine Arts, Sweden (2006-2011), visiting professor at College for Creative Studies in Detroit, USA (2008) and assistant professor at the Brandenburg University of Technology Cottbus, Germany (2005-2006).
